We will head out of Maypearl "exploring" again but this time turn south instead of southwest looking for a few live towns (Italy for one) and a few ghost towns and railroads. Riding along the escarpment will bring a little climbing and a little downhill and lots of views. The route will be around 60 miles with a bailout along the way giving 36 miles. We will gather at the Maypearl High School at the southern terminus of FM-157. Take FM-157 south, past Venus. The school is on your right, well before FM-157 “T”’s into FM-66.
